  • Child and Group discounts available on the Sailing Voyages tariff only.
  • Two berths will be reserved per Sailing Voyage on a first come first serve basis. The two berths will be offered at £599 for five – fifteen year olds. We have two berths which are big enough for a parent and child under five to share. We would not charge for the under five in this scenario.
  • If you book the whole boat that’s all nine berths, then we will offer you one berth at no charge.
  • On all voyages we offer Free Range Chicken and Eggs and where we can locally supplied produce.
  • Cargo crew and Long Terms we do not provide bedding, you must bring sleeping bag, bottom sheet and up to 2 pillow cases
    Grayhound is a CAT 2 coded MCA vessel, licensed to carry 12 Passengers and 4.5 tonnes of cargo. We are inspected regularly and comply to the highest levels of safety equipment and procedures.
  • Grayhound’s professional crew are highly trained and our qualifications are regularly checked and updated.
  • We do not get relief crew in, so your crew on your voyage will be the owners and operators of Grayhound Lugger Sailing, Marcus and Freya . We do sail with trainee deck staff learning the trade, they are fully supervised by the Skipper and are valuable to the ship’s running. They may lead watches after a period of training, in order to do this they will have been approved by the Skipper.
    Grayhound is our only family home. Our son is four and sails with us everywhere. He is our responsibility at all times and is not your concern. We live onboard all year round and ask for your respect when entering our home.
  • We eat ashore once a week for an evening meal and we expect you to buy your own lunch ashore on excursion days.
